These pages primarily detail our current journey to live in a place that has been very special to us for decades called Les Bellevilles in France. It chronicles the ups and downs, the realities, logistics, and the reason why this is such a ShangriLa hidden away in the French Alps.
How it all started
This journey began in 1989 when Dave did an exchange with the ski patrol of Les Menuires in France. We fell in love with the region and have returned most years to visit since then. After careers, buying a house and gaining two dogs, we have decided to make the plunge and move back to the Valley we love so much. This website follows our journey.
